CRYOLINE® XF: Spiral freezer The patented CRYOLINE® XF Spiral Freezer can boost efficiency by about 10% compared to standard box-spiral designs.

With spiral freezers, cryogenic gases crust freeze items to lock in shape and quality, and then, if needed, can fully freeze items from the outside in as they travel along the spiral conveyor. 

Achieving consistent food temperatures across the conveyor belt is key to optimizing food quality at high production rates, and the patented high-efficiency design used in the new CRYOLINE® XF (Crossflow) Spiral Freezer does exactly that.

What is different about the XF?

Efficiency & Quality: The CRYOLINE® XF using its patented cross flow design provides twice the heat transfer rate of conventional spiral freezers. By producing high-velocity, low temperature gas flow across the entire width of the belt, this high-efficiency design allows for a uniform freeze and high quality output while reducing freezing costs.

Smaller footprint: With a smaller footprint than conventional spiral freezers, high production capacity is possible even for the most space constrained customers.

Minimal downtime: Designed for hygiene and ease of use, the HMI touch screen control panel allows from storage/recall of with recipes to fault diagnostics should an error occur.

Which products is it best suited to?

The XF’s rapid freezing capability is ideal for high-temperature/ high-moisture products such as cooked poultry, seafood and prepared meals or bakery products.
