The CRYOLINE® CS is the first cryogenic self-stacking spiral freezer.
It is built with the smallest possible footprint and is based on new technology to make an even more efficient and cost effective piece of equipment.
It’s novel 8-sided form minimises the space around the belt, thus achieving the highest possible cold gas speed while the nitrogen supply and gas balance is controlled by a state-of-the-art automatic system.
What is different about the CS?
Efficiency & Quality: The CRYOLINE® CS acts as a heat exchanger whereby the liquid nitrogen is sprayed directly on the product and thus efficiently extracting heat from it. The generated cold gas is circulated around the products and then extracted by the exhaust system. The adjustable exhaust system of the CS ensures that the gas is fully utilised before leaving the spiral and therefore guarantees a very low gas consumption and low running costs.
Smaller footprint: With a smaller footprint than conventional spiral freezers, high production capacity is possible even for the most space constrained customers.
Ease of operation: The spiral is easy to operate by means of automatic control devices and is cooled down and ready for operation in less than 20 minutes.
Designed for safety: The CS has 2 operating modes: ‘normal mode’ where the freezer doors are required to be shut in order to activate the sealing system, start the belt and activate liquid nitrogen injection and ‘cleaning mode’ where the central fan and belt can be activated alone. Furthermore, the door safety system ensures that all doors are closed before cryogen injection.
